Cadets Announce Music Educator Liaison
Cadets Arts & Entertainment is pleased to announce that Carl Miller will be assisting the organization in the role of Music Educator Liaison.
"We are thrilled to welcome Carl Miller to The Cadets team!" said Vicki Ferrence Ray, Interim Executive Director of CAE. "He brings a wealth of knowledge about high school music education in western Pennsylvania, and we are looking forward to connecting with the greater music education community as we make Erie our new home."
Mr. Miller has been employed by the Crawford Central School District for 33 years and is currently working as Director of Bands and Music Teacher at Cochranton Junior-Senior High School and Cochranton Elementary School. He has also served as Faculty Advisor for the Tri-M Music National Honor Society and served as Music Department Coordinator.
Mr. Miller is a music and visual adjudicator for the Pennsylvania Federation of Contest Judges, the Allegheny Judges Association, and the PMEA Music Performance Assessments. He has been a guest conductor for several senior high county band festivals, PMEA Jr. High District Band Festivals, and he was guest conductor at the PMEA District 2 Jazz Festival in 2023. His professional memberships include PMEA, NAfME, Crawford County Music Educators Association, PSEA, NEA, and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia professional music fraternity.
