CBrass Partners with Warburton for 2022 and Beyond
On Monday, February 28, 2022, The Cadets proudly announced an exclusive partnership with Warburton Music Products.
Since 1974, Warburton has been manufacturing high quality mouthpieces designed to help brass musicians produce a superb, resonant sound with ease. Their team was on-site with CBrass in Salem, N.J. February 18-20 so that Cadets members and staff could demo the mouthpieces.
"It was very exciting to finally work one-on-one with the brass line and find something that gave CBrass the comfort and 'Holy Name Sound' that they have been looking for," said Kim Aubuchon, Marketing and Sales Director for Warburton. “This has been in the works for a long time, and I can’t wait until the rest of the world hears the end result!"
The Cadets Brass Caption Manager, Dr. Matt Stratton, and his team were equally pleased: "CBrass is a program where members should expect to receive an elite experience in personal treatment, instruction, and equipment," he said. "This exclusive partnership with Warburton will be a game-changer for these facets of our brass program. I cannot wait to hear the color, clarity, projection, and power this equipment will facilitate in our Holy Name Sound."
It helps that Warburton President and Founder, Terry Warburton, is no stranger to drum corps or The Cadets, as he marched with the Toronto Optimists Drum & Bugle Corps in the 1960s.
“I know the amount of time and effort that everyone involved puts forward to create the best performance day after day," he said. "Our company has a long history of working to make products that make the musician’s job easier, so it makes sense that we would join forces with The Cadets to provide them with the most efficient mouthpieces possible. As we like to say, ‘If it feels good, and it sounds good, then it is good.’ – and we are happy to do our part to help The Cadets sound amazing!”
