Joseph Elkin is from Fanwood, N.J. He is currently studying Media and Communications at Union College in Cranford, N.J.

Joseph began his marching career as a member of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Marching Band. During his four years in the band, he was a soloist multiple years and Drum Major his senior year. He went on to march with Cadets² in 2018, Fusion Core in 2019 and The Cadets in 2022.

Joseph took up film photography and developing and printing film as a hobby, but he now plans to transfer his degree to a four-year major in Photography.
