Mike Galetta is a highly-motivated educator and leader in the marching arts. Inspired by the excellence and mindset of the corps, Mike marched four summers with The Cadets (2016-2019), culminating with his appointment as Battery Section Leader for the 2018 and 2019 seasons. In recognition of his efforts, he was twice distinguished with the Cadet of the Year award (2018, 2019). Mike joined The Cadets percussion staff immediately after aging out and has served as a stabilizing member of the educational team ever since.
Mike has a strong passion for mentorship, and his goal is to help every student maximize his/her/their potential - both the marching arts and in life. Many of the lessons he learned with The Cadets have become central to his character, and he is intentional about spending time outside of rehearsal to pay these lessons forward.
Outside of the marching arts, Mike is currently a medical student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, OH. His professional background is in Sports Medicine/Orthopaedics, and hopes to one day become an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
