BRASS & GUARD ANNOUNCE 3-STEP VIDEO AUDITION
On Thursday, December 3, The Cadets announced a three-step Video Audition starting at just $21.
The Cadets Administration recognizes that COVID-19 has brought numerous challenges to our young fans and aspiring Cadets. Rather than charge one substantial audition fee for the entire process up-front, we have created a Video Screening Process to make auditioning for The Cadets accessible to as many young performers as possible.
Musicians and color guard performers tend to be highly self-aware. Surprisingly, even the most outstanding Cadets once wondered if they had what it takes to make the cut. Instead of adding a daunting audition fee into the mix, we are taking the pressure off. (Besides, who needs more stress this year?)
If you’re not sure whether you’re ready to be a Cadet, it only costs $21 to download our Video Screening Packet and start practicing. Once you’re ready, for $20 you can submit a video that best represents your skills. Our caption managers will personally evaluate your submission and provide you with positive feedback.
From there, many students will be invited to Step 2 of the process, which costs just $34. At this phase, auditionees will receive specific material to perform on video for further consideration.
Step 3 is the Final Audition. This last phase will also be by invitation only and costs $50. If our senior staff thinks your ready, you will be offered a 2021 Cadets Member Contract.
