Parent and Volunteer Info Session Recap
On Monday, April 3, 2023, The Cadets Administration hosted the corps' annual Parent and Volunteer Info Session. This virtual meeting gives parents insight into the drum corps activity and a season with The Cadets. Attendees were able to submit questions and hear from leaders in the organization, including Director Brian Murphy, Interim Executive Director Vicki Ferrence Ray, Operations Manager Dan Hurd, Corps Manager Kelsey Brunson, and Volunteer Coordinator Jill Updike.
After the parent portion of the evening, the presentation shifted focus to volunteering, outlining the volunteer positions that keep The Cadets running each year. New potential volunteers were able to gain an understanding of a day in the life of a Cadets volunteer in the various capacities and ask questions.
