Robert Starling is from Charlotte, N.C. and is currently a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Indiana University.

2023 will be Robert's third year as a Cadet on the field, having joined the corps for what would have been the 2020 season. He is also a member of the IU Marching Hundred.

Outside of academic and musical interests, Robert loves doing puzzles of all kinds. He can solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute! His favorite book is one that a friend convinced him to read while on tour last summer: The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson.
