MARCH IN OUR VIRTUAL HALLOWEEN PARADE
This fall, embrace the spooky spirit of the season and join The Cadets in our first Virtual Halloween Parade!
With social distancing still in place, October 31 may look a bit different this year. As part of our fall fundraiser, we want to bring fans and alumni from all over the marching arts together in a fun online event.
HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:
Now through October 27, you can submit a photo of yourself or your family dressed up to “march” in our Virtual Halloween Parade. On the afternoon of October 31, The Cadets will share a video of the parade on Facebook and Instagram, featuring festive photos of anyone and everyone who wants to participate, along with current Cadets and staff members, and maybe even some of our pets and kids!
If you have your drum corps or band uniform, put it on and snap a photo! Do you have a great photo in your uniform from back in the day? Send it in! Or just do your best to dress up like your favorite corps or show!
But, hey, parades are more than just bands and drum corps. If you already have a different costume in mind, join in the parade! All costumes are encouraged, including puppies and babies.
The entry fee for each photo will be $20, and any proceeds will go directly into the 2021 Cadets’ tour fund. Click here to submit a photo.
WIN REAL PRIZES
At the end of the 2020 Virtual Parade video, winners will be announced in the following captions:
- Best-Dressed Baby
- Best-Dressed Pet
- Best Drum Corps Uniform Photo
- Best Band Uniform Photo
- Best Adult Halloween Costume
- Grand Prize Winner (picked from the 5 above)
Winners will be contacted after the video is posted so they can receive their prizes, and we’re working on some great prizes you will want to win! Look for them to be announced soon.
This is NOT a Cadets-only parade. Anyone is welcome to participate in this fun and festive fall event. Plus, you might just win a seriously good prize!
