TUNE IN OCT. 25 FOR THE 2020 CADETS STORY
Mark your calendar! On Sunday, October 25, The Cadets will present The 2020 Cadets Story, a live video broadcast to celebrate the members of the corps this year and share their achievements with the world.
The 2020 Cadets did not get to go on tour. They will never have their much-anticipated DCI DVD, but that does not mean they don’t have a story.
In many ways, their story is similar to that of every Cadets corps, full of adversity, discipline, and camaraderie. But unlike a tough visual block that seems it may never end, these Cadets truly had no end to their adversity in sight. And so, they had to do something no Cadets have done before them: They had to stand together when the only Cadet they could see was themselves.
Since the spring, The Cadets have faithfully gathered online, practicing, working out, and performing for their instructors. While others closed their books on this summer before it began, The 2020 Cadets have upheld the tradition, continuing to march us forward. They are the 150 members of the eighty-sixth corps in our history, and it is finally time to share their story.
At 3 p.m. EDT on Sunday, October 25, The Cadets will go LIVE on Facebook and Instagram with a special broadcast entitled, The 2020 Cadets Story, to celebrate this corps and the chapter they have written in our history.
Tune in to hear from members what it has meant to them to be a part of this corps during this challenging year, watch performance videos from current members and staff, and get updates from Director Denise Bonfiglio and senior staff as they share the corps’ accomplishments in 2020 and plans for 2021.
Be sure to follow The Cadets on Facebook and Instagram so you don’t miss this special event.
As our Cadets turn their hopes toward next summer, please help us push them through the end of 2020 and into a brighter 2021. Click here to read more about our Final Push fundraiser to support them today.
