The Cadets are creating a new position for 2022 and beyond. The Food Truck Manager is a paid role that is key to managing the operations of the food truck. You will work very closely with the Chef and will manage all aspects of the food inventory along with paper products, utensils, and sanitation products. This Position coordinates with the Food Team Lead, and reports to the Chef. 

  • Coordinate menu plans with the Chef daily.
  • Coordinate the menu plan with the Food Team Lead, along with timing of when food prep would start/complete and serve.
  • Coordinate with the Chef to prepare daily shopping lists for the Admin Team if applicable.
  • Oversee entire truck inventory including dry goods, refrigerator, freezer, canned goods, cookware, etc. 
  • Update the Inventory Spreadsheet at the end of each day.  
  • Work with the Chef to confirm inventory items and needs for food orders, and execute orders with vendors, timing with the Operations Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Chef to maintain the organization of the truck (dry goods, refrigerator, freezer, canned goods, cookware, etc.) including secondary dry goods storage.
  • Coordinate with the Chef to maintain a sanitary environment in the food truck.
  • Manage the packing and unpacking of the truck including tables, trash cans, cambros, etc.  
  • Oversee maintenance of the Food Truck, communicate any issues to the transportation manager.  
  • Check propane tanks daily and communicate to the transportation manager when they need to be filled. 
  • Assist the Food Team Lead as needed.
