Nicole Raab joined The Cadets as a member of the Color Guard in 2020 and aged out with the CBCCG in 2021.

Her marching experience began with the Harrisonburg High School Blue Streak Band Color Guard in Harrisonburg, Va. (2014-17). Nicole has also performed with the JMU Marching Royal Dukes Color Guard (2018-20), JMU Nuance Winter Guard (2018-20), and Alter Ego Winter Guard (2021-22). Nicole has also served as an assistant instructor at multiple high schools within the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia.

Nicole holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from James Madison University. Most recently, she completed an AmeriCorps service term through College Possible Philadelphia, an educational non-profit working to increase educational access and equity within public high schools in Philadelphia.

Starting in September 2022, Nicole will be completing a clinical internship and trainee program through a Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Massachusetts while attending Simmons University to earn an advanced standing Master’s degree in Social Work.
