Color Guard Caption Manager

As a performer and instructor, Andy Mroczek has over 20 years of experience in the color guard and drum corps activity, both nationally and internationally.

Mroczek was a choreographer for Madison Scouts 2004 and Santa Clara Vanguard (SCV) from 2005 to 2009, a technician and instructor for the SCV winter guard from 2008 to 2010, the color guard caption head and designer for Bluecoats from 2010 to 2013. He worked with Blue Knights in 2014, and served as the guard designer for the Mandarins Drum and Bugle Corps in 2016. He has also been a choreographer for many groups such as Braddock Independent, Stoneman Douglas High School and Claudia Taylor Johnson High School, and worked with the WGI Scholastic World Champion James Logan High School in 2002 and 2003. Internationally, he has worked with groups in Canada, France, and the Netherlands. Most recently, Mroczek founded the 2017 Invictus World Winter Guard from Austin, Texas.

Mroczek performed with the Blue Devils and Madison Scouts, and was also a performer and movement instructor for the Northern Lights Winter Guard from 2000 to 2006. He currently lives in Mishawaka, Ind, where he works with multiple groups and is in his fourth year as choreographer and staging designer for Sensation Performance Ensemble from Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Andy joined The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps in 2018 as a choreographer and is now the caption manager.
