The Cadets are looking for an Audio Systems Technician - A2 to complete the Audio Team.

The Cadets are looking to add a qualified member to the 2022 Audio Team! Candidates with a background in audio engineering who are looking for experience in live mixing, equipment management, touring, and network protocols are encouraged to apply below.

2022 Tour

The position will be structured primarily around the corps’ summer tour and will require travel with The Cadets Drum Corps. Ideally, the Audio Systems Technician – A2 commits to working the entire tour from June 2 to August 13, 2022. Scheduling flexibility to accommodate serious pre-existing personal or school-related commitments will be applied when possible.

Travel is provided to and from tour, and all transportation, housing, and food will be provided. Volunteers and interns will be considered for this position, and compensation will be negotiated if applicable.
 

What you'll achieve

• Maintain the audio system
• Scan RF and coordinate wireless systems
• Deploy the audio system multiple times per day
• Prevent and troubleshoot any issues to ensure full operation, always
• Mixing with A1 is unavailable
   

About you

• Age 22 or older
• Knowledge of Dante, RF, Wireless Workbench, and IP Networking
• Experience of soldering is a must
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Knowledge of Digital Mixers and Line Arrays
• Knowledge of NS-1 or Ease Focus is a plus
