2021-03-14T14:16:27-04:00

Homecoming Weekend Preview & a Look Back at 2019 "It's better than the best family reunion," said Cadets Alumnus John Hannigan, thinking back to The Cadets Homecoming Weekend in the fall of 2019. As plans come into view for Homecoming Weekend 2021, we can't help but reminisce about the wonderful event series that brought Cadets Alumni and supporters together on the same weekend in 2019. At the time, attendees couldn't have anticipated that it would be two years before The Cadets Family would come together again, but the wait is finally almost over! Mark your calendar, save the dates, and [...]

Attention ALL Cadets: We recently created an Alumni News Form to help the extended Cadets Alumni family stay connected across the generations. A Letter to Our 2020 Donors

2020-12-22T10:43:01-05:00

Dear Donor, Thank you for your donation to The Cadets this year. As a non-profit performing arts organization that relies on in-person events, 2020 seemed almost impossible earlier this year. Yet, thanks to your generosity, we were able to not only continue to operate, but to use this year to lay a strong foundation for our organization for many, many years to come. Unlike many other corps, The Cadets have continued to hold regular rehearsals for our members throughout 2020, giving them a constant “normal” and a sense of purpose and camaraderie in a year filled with so much uncertainty [...]

Health & Wellness Committee: Keeping Our Cadets Safe

2020-12-11T21:59:33-05:00

With the founding of Cadets Arts & Entertainment earlier this year, the Board of Directors has worked diligently to set up safeguards and establish committees to strategically lead The Cadets into greater success in the years ahead. In the context of 2020, the formation of a Health and Wellness Committee was of utmost importance. Comprised of a group of medical experts that have up-to-the-minute information on COVID-19 testing, vaccines, and current protocols, the CAE Health and Wellness Committee meets regularly to review CDC guidelines and strategize about ways to implement them once The Cadets resume in-person [...]
